Any-Brand Garage Door Repairs

Not sure who fitted your garage door — or the company that installed it has stopped answering the phone? It doesn't matter. We repair garage doors from every major UK brand, whoever supplied them and however old they are.

A lot of homeowners come to us once the manufacturer's warranty has run out. Many big brands only cover parts and labour for the first few years, and after that you're on your own. That's where we come in — our local engineers service and repair doors from Garador, Hörmann, Henderson, Cardale, SeceuroGlide, Gliderol, Garolla and the rest, usually in a single visit.

You'll always get a clear, fixed price before any work begins — no hidden costs, no surprises.

Garador Repairs

Garador is one of the oldest and most widespread names in British garage doors (founded in 1948), making up & over, sectional, roller and side-hinged doors, plus the GaraMatic operator. It's our most-requested branded repair. We fix the lot — worn cables and springs on up & over doors, panel and hinge issues on sectionals, and motor or remote faults on automated models.

Hörmann Repairs

Hörmann is a premium German manufacturer known for sectional doors, the RollMatic roller door and the Promatic / Supramatic (BiSecur) operators. Common jobs are worn torsion springs, cable drums, roller and hinge wear on sectionals, and remotes that need re-pairing or replacing.

Henderson Repairs

Henderson is a long-established British name best known for the up & over gear, springs and tracking fitted on countless older garages. After decades of use these parts wear out — we replace springs, cables, rollers and the classic Henderson lifting gear to get tired doors moving smoothly again.

Cardale Repairs

Cardale is a long-standing UK brand with a large installed base of up & over and Steeline roller doors. Cable and spring replacement is the most common Cardale repair we carry out, along with track adjustments and automation faults.

Roller & Electric Roller Door Repairs

Electric roller doors are hugely popular and we repair every make — including Garolla, SeceuroGlide (SWS), Gliderol, Aluroll and Alutech. Typical faults are a motor that stops responding, a remote or wall switch that won't talk to the door, slats that jam or drop out of the guides, or a door that creeps down on its own.

Garolla in particular fit thousands of doors direct to homeowners with a 5-year product warranty. Once that warranty is up you're free to use any competent engineer — so if your original installer has gone quiet, we can service the motor, remotes, manual override and bottom-slat safety edge, fitting compatible parts where needed and testing the door before we leave.

How It Works

1

Tell Us the Brand (If You Know It)

Book online or call us and let us know the make of your door if you have it. Not sure? No problem — we can identify it on site.

2

On-Site Diagnosis

Your engineer identifies the fault and the parts involved, then gives you a clear, fixed price before starting.

3

Repair with Compatible Parts

We carry the most common springs, cables, motors and remotes on the van, and source brand-specific parts where needed.

4

Test & Warranty

We test the door end to end before we leave. All replacement parts carry a 12-month warranty.

Repair or Replace?

An out-of-warranty door is very rarely a write-off. Most faults come down to a single worn component, and replacing it is far cheaper than a brand-new door. We'll only ever suggest replacement if it genuinely makes more sense for you.

Usually a Repair if:

  • The door is structurally sound
  • Only one component has failed
  • Parts are still available for the brand
  • The door is under 15–20 years old

Consider Replacement if:

  • Multiple parts are failing at once
  • The door is very old or obsolete
  • Panels or slats are damaged beyond repair
  • You'd like to upgrade to a modern insulated door

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you repair Garolla garage doors?

Yes. We repair Garolla electric roller doors, including motor faults, remote and wall-switch problems, jammed or misaligned slats, and doors that creep or won't stay open. Once your Garolla warranty has expired you're free to use any competent engineer, and we're happy to help.

My door is out of warranty — can you still fix it?

Absolutely. In fact, out-of-warranty repairs are a big part of what we do. Most manufacturers only cover the first few years, so once that period ends we're the affordable, independent alternative to going back to the original supplier.

What if I don't know who made my garage door?

That's completely fine. There's often no visible branding on an older door. Our engineers can identify the make and mechanism on site, and the common parts (springs, cables, motors, remotes) are broadly similar across brands anyway.

Can you get spare parts for any brand?

We carry the most common parts on the van and can source brand-specific components for the major manufacturers. For a handful of very old or discontinued doors, some original parts are no longer made — in those cases we'll fit a compatible equivalent or talk you through the options honestly.

Do I have to use the company that originally fitted my door?

No. Once you own the door and any warranty has expired, you can use whichever engineer you like for repairs and servicing. Using an independent specialist like us is usually quicker and more cost-effective.

Is the repair covered by a warranty?

Yes. All replacement parts we fit carry a 12-month warranty, and we test the door thoroughly before leaving so you know it's working properly.

Can you repair electric roller doors as well as up-and-over doors?

Yes — we work on every common type: electric roller doors (like Garolla and SeceuroGlide), sectional doors (Hörmann, Novoferm), up & over doors (Garador, Cardale) and side-hinged doors, whether manual or automated.
